MDARS Software
MDARS is used on Mazda 7th generation vehicles starting with the following all new models:
- 2025-present CX-70
- 2024-present CX-90
- 2024-present MX-5
- 2023-present CX-50
- 2022-2023 MX-30
- 2021-2023 CX-9
- 2021-present CX-5
- 2020-present CX-30
- 2019-present Mazda3
MDARS software can be used with the Denso DST-010 or the Mazda VCM II, or one of the following pass thru devices. Mazda VCI hardware is purchased separately – see “Mazda VCI Information” tab.
- OPUS Mongoose Plus MFC3
NOTE:
- A Mazda IDS subscription will also get you access to MDARS, a cloud based software, for 7th generation vehicles.
- MDARS can also be purchased for 72 hours or 30 days like PCM reflashing software (MMP/MDSFA) because they will not work on 7th generation vehicles.
- After 100 days of non-use, your MDARS password will have to be reset. This will take at least one day to have Japan send a password reset email.
